My ears are stil bleeding from Jack Edwards talking about Chara’s hit on Eakin.

what’d he say?
Eakin charged him? Elbowed Chara?

He referenced the “indentation” that Eakin’s body left in the boards. Later used the play as a physics lesson for the kids at home: Giving up 70 pounds = no good.

My ears immediately bleed whenever I have to listen to Hack Edwards.

Does it help to think Chara was hitting MSL?

Bruce Boudreau when asked about Brooks Laich's return to the lineup, he said: "He just adds another dimension to our team. If it was puzzle, he just fits that thing. He completes us."

That’s what I’ve got right now. It’s watching a team I hate on a service provided a company that got it’s business plan from al-Qaeda.

I went to eat with about 8 minutes left and just came back to watch the end.

Other than the first five minutes and the goal, I thought the boys held their own.

Nice guys finish first, but sometimes the season is awfully long.

Earlier tonight he was said something along the lines of, Washington and Ovechkin are making excuses as to why he’s not going he’s a big boy and he should be there. Milbury is such a douche.

by RossingtonCollins on Jan 24, 2012 7:52 PM EST up reply actions

True, but they keep putting him on because he riles people up. The proper reaction is, “Milbury…(yawn)…meh, don’t care… this guy sure is boring.”

Shanahan’s thought process:
1. I am against shots to the head
2. Zdenek Michalek avoided contact with all parts of Hendricks’ body, electing instead to crush Hendricks’ helmet against the glass in an apparent attempt to smoosh it and everything inside it like a grape
3. The helmet is ON the head, but is not the head.
4. Ergo: this is not a “headshot”
5. No ban!
