I just hope Ovechkin isn’t taking pics of the playbook anytime soon.

Which DC sports team has the Most Valuable Players? That would be DC United, a team being pushed out by the city. Help Keep United in DC so they can receive a fair deal on a lease and help develop a path to build a stadium with local investment and incentives.

I’ve seen this somewhere before. The information was there, and then it wasn’t. Odd really. I couldn’t find it anywhere, until it appeared here.
Thanks, JP, for helping a fella out.
Nice guys finish first, but sometimes the season is awfully long.

That 09-10 pace was something remarkable. 50 in 50 seemed like a real possibility early in the season.
Well, at least he reached the 20 goal mark quicker this season than he did last season. That’s… something.

20 in 22?
Good lord, I forgot how ridiculous he was that season.
and missed 10 games that season. had he not be injured, or not suspended (take your pick), I think he would completed another sweep of the awards.

I’m going to get crap for actually agreeing with something Milbury said yesterday. I don’t remember exactly, but something to the effect of how Ovechkin really wants to score more, but just needs to worry more about wins right now than anything.
He actually said it in a tone that wasn’t condescending.
Yea. But this team has continued to show the whole, “as Ovi goes, the team goes” thing. So Ovi needs to be scoring for the team to be winning.
Just about to type the same thing.
With 2 of our top offensive weapons out of the lineup and another that’s prone to misfiring – Ovi needs to shoot and score more for the Caps to win games.
