Aren't the Caps supposed to be dominating this game? They're not. 1-0 Isles after one, with the second period a-comin'.

Very dumb, but that’s not a good hit either. And Alzner had his stick yanked out of his hand shortly after the NYI goal. Two teams out there.

Absolutely the worst ref in the league. Constantly blowing calls, missing calls just making up calls as he goes along. Helen Keller could call a better game than Auger.

One, you can’t blame the Caps for not controlling the play. They played last night and the Isle have fresh legs.
Two, Auger. Although the PIM on Halpy was legit.

Yeah. Not a good period. Caps treaded water for the first 5-8 minutes, but the Isle were in control after that.
Refs not helping, but not the main problem either.

We all know what is going to happen. The Caps are going to rally in the third, pot at least one to give us some hope.
Depending on whether it’s a Becca recap or not they’ll either
1) Tie it up and win in either the third period or OT.
2) Lose terribly.
I’m aggravated, but not going off the deep end here. Still a long way to go. They are showing some glimmers of life.
