Reason #1,908 it's good to be Nicklas Backstrom
Get good at hockey, get to do cool things.
In this case, a really good hockey player got to do a really cool thing - on Sunday, Capitals centerman Nick Backstrom attended the ceremony in which his childhood hockey arena was renamed after him.
No more Borr & Tång (Drilling and Pliers) Arena; Valbo Hockej Club was more than pleased to rename their stadium "NickBack Arena."
From the article:
Valbo HCS President Per Persson was very pleased after the inauguration and full of expectation about cooperation with Nicklas.
"It's fantastic that we received such an unlikely opportunity to become associated with our greatest star. We have never had such a big star coming from Valbo and we well might never get back either," he said.

Better NickBack Arena than Nickelback Arena…
That'll make your weagle wink!
The pants that bind us should be left behind us.
Apparently, from here on out, there will be no more group prices and admission to the arena will be per persson.
The conglomerate of dentists who formerly owned the arena will also be phased out.
"You just have a sense," Holland says. "The type of player you want, the type of situation you reference for your next game, you see it."
