How does a thumb heal that quickly from February to May without significant rest? I don’t know enough about the injury.
Now we give Nick some rest and a nice long off-season and hope he comes back and has another 100 point season. Don’t know what else there is. Even if there were suitors (I imagine there would be), I wouldn’t consider moving Nick yet.
Sigh.
So, does this count as pretty much calling out your 1C? I mean if they’re just answering a question honestly, it is what it is. Still, the response makes it sound like “he was fine, so as to why he didn’t play well… ”
