    • Stan Galiev scored the Sea Dog's first goal on the power play against the Owen Sound Attack on the way to a 3-2 overtime victory and a guaranteed berth in the Memorial Cup championship game. [Station Nation, National Post, OIH, RLD]
    • Galiev, third star of the game. [Buzzing the Net]
    • Galiev, tough guy.  He left the ice in the third, clearly favoring his left leg after having his knee driven into the boards, but didn't miss a shift.  He got some rest though when he took a retaliatory boarding penalty.
    • Galiev, ready to chat.  Russian reporter Slava Malamud caught up with Stan prior to the game against Owen Sound. The important takeaways: He's working on getting bigger and stronger, and he and Dmitry Orlov cannot wait to come back to DC for DevCamp. [Sport-Express.ru]
    • The Sea Dogs play again tonight at 7, when they take on the winless-and-facing-elimination Cody Eakin and the Kootenay Ice. Tonight's game will be broadcast at 12pm tomorrow on NHL Net.
    • And, hey.  About those winless Ice... [Buzzing the Net]
