Remember earlier this season?  Remember the eight game losing streak? Remember how Alex Ovechkin was having an off year? Remember how Nick Backstrom wasn't playing up to his usual standards? Remember that Nick missed a few games for the first time ever?

Remember how Mike Green's numbers were down, and now he wasn't a great player anymore? Remember how the Caps had lost their edge?  Remember how the Caps were done? How they weren't a contender anymore?

Remember the media all screaming about when Bruce Boudreau would lose his job?  Remember December when everything was going wrong?  Remeber 7-0 in NY? Remember?

Ok, now that you've remembered, look where the Caps are.  With one more point the Caps will not only clinch the top seed in the East, they will also be second in the league over all.  And right now, the Caps in their past 10 games are 7-2-1, which is 15 points out of 20, which is a .750 point percentage.  Over 162 82 games that's 121 points... same as last season.
