What a first round. We have some AWESOME pickers in our bracket.

Flash in the Pan and Stemmer are tied for the lead with 117 points. Myself and Vinn are tied with 112 points. That puts us in the top 98th percentile of the thousands playing on NHL.com – not too shabby.

Plenty of points still to be had for those lower in the ranks. 20 points for the winning pick and 10 points for the series length this round.

Woot. Now if only I could do this is March Madness when money was on the line.

So now I have an out of date handle tog go along with my half dozen out of date jerseys from various other sports. How long before it becomes retro?

Leaving me out? I think I got 7 of the 8 series’ winners right and 4 of the 8 series length’s right. Says I’m 96th percentile.

Yeah. Picked Detroit to win, but I thought that series was going longer. Hahaha, ah well. I picked a lot of Game 7s in most of my brackets, and I think that’s where my edge came from. :D Let’s see how I do this round, this round I’m really unsure of all the series except ours.

I knew I picked a bunch of 6 games series so I was thinking I didn’t do so well, but without looking at the details, I’m guessing picking the winner was worth more than the number of games. Nice job to those with 117.
