The comments section at Japersrink.com (best Caps blog going, but you already knew that) plays host to a good level of hockey discussion where the signal-to-noise ratio is much higher than in other spaces of that ilk. Japers’ daily "Noon Number" feature is a recent and excellent addition to the site, a fun thing to chew on for a bit in the middle of the day. Thursday’s noon number was culled from the hard work and diligent research of one of the commenters there (psuscott1), and it helps illustrate just how unusual the 2010-11 Washington Capitals are.
