The Eagle is landing - Dmitri Orlov comes to North America
Dmitri Orlov's KHL team has announced his departure from Russia. His destination is Hershey, Pennsylvania and the next step on the road to his NHL dream.
Before leaving his hometown of Novokuznetsk, his Metallurg club asked him a few questions. An exit interview, if you will, and his answers are very charming.
Welcome, Dima! May all your dreams come true.

Very nice find, Emily. Great title on “Eagle is landing” given that his last name means “eagle”.
Now the makers of red velvet cupcakes just have to hide them so Dima doesn’t come steal them. (Couldn’t resist saying this after he was caught “red” handed with cupcakes after rookie camp.)
Seriously, I’m looking forward to Dima’s arrival here and with the Caps.
Rocking the Red for teams on the banks of the Potomac and at the Gateway Arch and Singing the Blues about Hockey.
This is going to be good. :-)
I’d love to see a better translation of the article, but as soon as Orolv gets his skates on in Hershey, I’ll definitely make time to get up there to watch him play.
