Pledge Drive November Update

Um, thank god November is over?

Lack of goal scoring+goalies leakier than a sieve with a gaping hole in the middle=come up just short of $600, not including all the various special pledges and wagers that have been made. We are at $592.66 for the season, which is pretty awesome, considering how badly the Capitals have played so far.

On to December: new month, new coach, same old Mike Knuble delivering some Penguin ass-kicking.

Always, thank you so much to everyone pledging and placing wagers on this season! This does not happen without your enthusiastic support each season. (I can't believe no one was putting money on when Bruce would get fired)

Is there a chance I could join in on the pledge? I’m thinking something along the lines of $1 for every goal Ovechkin, Semin, and Green score. Would that work?

Figures.

Seems like whatever I pledge, doesn’t happen. No Crosby/Malkin/Staal points. No goals from Pens D-men. Unreal. I should change my pledge to “Caps shutouts vs. Pens” just to make sure that doesn’t happen. =)
