In which Evgeny Kuznetsov picks up a nice drop pass from Deron Quint, rifles a shot off the goalie and then buries his own rebound.

Everytime I watch a Kuznetsov play I wonder 2 things. 1. When is he coming over here? 2. WHERE IS THE DEFENSE?! He is allowed to just walk to the net and deposit his own rebound. Even though he is excelling there he may just need a stint with Hershey to get used to actual defense.
He will not spend one second in Hershey, unless it’s for injury rehab. He will learn about NHL D in real time.
You perhaps knew me better as "Your Nation's Capital." Same great commentary, now with 100% more transparency!
I am presuming he’ll get a spot on our 2nd line. And, no, I don’t mean on our CLAW line that was promoted from the 3rd line. No, on the Johansson line, with a winger to be named later, who I presume will be Eakin.

![Via Traktor Chelyabinsk's website, here's Evgeny Kuznetsov graciously accepting a handmade hat from some of his fans.
The Traktor fans were aware of the NA tradition of the hat trick, and in honor of his strong performance at World Juniors, they made him one of his very own:
"It is known that the ocean [overseas leagues - ed.] has a tradition: after the execution of a hat-trick fans throw on the ice caps. Hat-trick in a literal translation - "hat trick". Kuznetsov played in the World Cup just two such trick: in the group stage, he scored 3 goals in the gate the Latvian team, and in the semi-finals three times, struck the gate of Canada. These two points are noted."
