The linked Rock the Red article suggested that Ovechkin should model his game after Brett Hull and try to find mor e open ice to wait for a pass from his linemates instead of carrying the puck into the zone himself. What say you? Personally, I think there is not a problem with Ovechkin carrying the puck into the zone. He just needs to try different things when he does it. I'd like him to just barrel into the defender a couple times with the puck, he'll most likely lose the puck but it may open up some space for him the next time he comes down the ice. Or he should make use of a drop pass and make a beeline for the net to cash in on rebounds.
