Happy New Year and Winter Classic weekend, Washington Capitals fans!  Hope you're all well recovered from last night's New Year's Eve festivities (especially those of you in Pittsburgh; better yet, keep a buzz going and you might then actually enjoy the Western Pennsylvania metropolis).  We're on the verge of the biggest regular season Caps game since, well, the last one of the 2007-08 season.  But to paraphrase Brooks Laich's comments during the NHLN coverage of the outdoor practice yesterday, the memories of the WC will be sweet only if the Caps win.

Russell and I bring you an all-new live episode of JRR tomorrow at 10am Eastern.  We'll discuss all of the Classic goings on with Dan Steinberg of the Washington Post's DC Sports Bog, recap the game and Episode 3 of HBO's 24/7 series.  And later we'll chat again with Alan May, legendary former Cap and CSN Washington game day analyst, about his participation in the Caps-Pens alumni hockey game played yesterday and the first half of the Caps' season.

As Coach Boudreau might say, don't f***ing miss it.

The call in number is (917) 388-4003 and we'll take your questions @japersrinkradio.
