Do you need one ticket per drink? Or do you just show the same ticket every time you order a drink?
Because now I can justify browsing and commenting during the work day with the argument that I am promoting my business.
One ticket gets you one wristband and the wristband gets you the discounts (during the applicable timeframe).

That’s what I was hoping. Good stuff.

Be sure to buy Stretch Double IPAs when you see him.

Does this place still not have a kitchen?

I was gonna walk down 7th Street and hit one of the restaurants up for dinner on the way to the party. It’s not too far of a walk, and bar food isn’t on my acceptable list :)

True. On the other hand, some of their beers drink like a meal.

I don’t expect them to add a kitchen ever, just checked with a buddy of mine who works there.

Interesting. Not a common business model, but I’m glad it’s working for them. I suppose it should — beer + Skee-ball is enough to get me in the door.

No, but you can order delivery there. I saw some folks getting Dominos delivered the last time I was there.
'Cause the end of what it was is what it is right now...

Alright, I bought my tickets for the caps convention and I’ll be at this party with the gf. Printed out my tickets for cheap beer.

I look to the future because that's where I'm going to spend the rest of my life.
I won't be at convention
But there’s a good chance I’ll make the after party. If that’s legal.

FYI - re other Saturday events in DC
There is a big rally at the Lincoln Memorial tomorrow beginning at noon. Metro is opening early due to those traveling to the rally. There will be street closures around the Lincoln Memorial. There is also the AIDS Walk in DC in the morning that begins and ends at Freedom Plaza and is mainly on Pennsylvania Ave to and from the Capitol, Metro is doing track work in the Red Line. There is also track work in the Green Line and Yellow Line from the Convention Center stop and U St/African-Amer Civil War Memorial/Cardozo. So check wmata.com for Metro info as it will be crowded and Dr. Gridlock and WTOP re traffic.
I'll be working the door for SB Nation
so I’ll see you guys there.
