I read the excellent article on the RMNB about what we can expect from Mathieu Perrault and it got me thinking about Neil's comment about successful NHL small players. Perrault is listed at 5'10" 175....but we know he's probably 5'7" 160 or 165. What other good little men are currently playing (or have recently retired) in the league? M. St. Louis and T. Fluery immediately come to mind. Maybe S. Yzerman too, but he wasn't that small. He really was 5'10"..... I really like Perfault and think he's earned a shot with the Caps. In fact, I would have been just as happy if Fleischmann hadn't resigned and Perrault took his slot as 2nd [or more likely 3rd] line center. MP85 may be small, but the man's got heart.
So anyway, who are the best little players in the league?
