The young guns have finally become seasoned veterans . On Sunday, the construction team from Castel , composed of young Mathieu Perreault, Francois Bouchard, Derick Brassard and Jason Pominvile has overwhelmed the defending champions and favorites to repeat this year – the Total Hockey / Maxi -Club Yanic Perreault. The final score was 7-6.
“It’s been two years since they lost in the finals and it was time to do that lying proverb which says never two without three It was truly an incredible match,” recalled Perreault.
“We had the same team for three years. The only difference is that my brother Pierre-Marc was not there this year because he is still injured. Jason Pominville answered call this summer; he agreed to play with us . We appreciated his contribution,” said Francois Bouchard .
Pominville has also been elected most valuable player in the class Rogers ( 12 goals and 11 assists in five games ) .
You perhaps knew me better as "Your Nation's Capital." Same great commentary, now with 100% more transparency!
Good for them. I can never get enough of Matty.
"I’m very happy to hear the news," Ovechkin said when he heard about Backstrom's longterm contract--"because he’s one of the top centers in the world, one of my best friends and we want to play together for a long time. He’s a guy who wants to stay in one place and be comfortable and win, just like me. We talk all the time about playing together, and we talked after the playoffs about how we can win in Washington."
Can’t waitto see MP in DC next season, hope he stays here as he brings a whole new level of intensity that at times is missing on the CAPS.
"Do you smell that? It's napalm, son. Nothing else on the world smells like that. I love the smell of napalm in the morning. Y'know, once we had a hail bomb....12 hours....and when it was all over I walked up. We didn't find one of them, not one stinking dink body. The smell, y'know that gasoline smell, that whole hell. Smells like........ Victory. Some day this war's gonna end."
