Poor Ted. One more piece of crap to deal with. (that was a 2009 report)
"It's always good to have vikings."
Proud member of the Oxford dictionary police.
I hope now that Ted controls the vendors (I believe he did NOT before he acquired the VC) that things will turn around, they need a good PR campaign once they’ve cleaned everything up to change people’s perception… I know I will NOT buy food there until I see something pimping how clean the food is there…

Some of them are very minor and actually pose like a 1-2% risk to customers. Health inspectors tell the restaurant I work at for the summer all grills need 2 spatulas. One for handling the cooking and one for serving(or transfering from grill to plate). However the grills burn at 400 degrees and 99.9% of gems die in that heat therefore the spatulas are always germ free.
And most restaurants cut corners, minor ones. Not changing gloves after two employee’s hands touch is a violation. Actually not changing gloves between touching 2 different things or areas is a violation.
But most places know when they are being monitored and actually try during that time. The report also doesn’t say to what degree of violations each stall had just that all stalls had atleast 1 violation. Though mice droppings is kinda big.
Yeah, I’m probably eating before games now.
Bruce Boudreau when asked about Brooks Laich's return to the lineup, he said: "He just adds another dimension to our team. If it was puzzle, he just fits that thing. He completes us."
Brooks Laich completing everything from teams to tires and everything in between.
This sort of leads me to conclude it’s a problem with the building, and maybe more than any individual food vendor should be expected to handle. Maybe.

As someone that has to attend food safety certification courses and does occasional inspections on other sites, I’ll tell you that this is 100% correct.
Mouse droppings is a titanic red flag, though. You can find ‘critical’ (term of art, according to whatever health code prevails in the area) violations in most restaurants, depending on how hard you look. Almost no one scores perfectly, but most restaurants that aren’t making people sick score in the mid to upper nineties.

Damn!!
Glad I eat at home before I go to games… I thought I was saving myself from paying too much. I might’ve been protecting my health as well…

One of the most shocking things from that little article is that Nassau Coliseum had 0% violations. Wow.
I'm gonna pain you dearly Woodhouse, when I peel all your skin off with a flensing knife, sew it into Woodhouse pajamas, and then set those pajamas on fire.

I think that kind of stat says more about the inspectors than the buildings

This is probably my all time favorite fanshot. Also, let’s not forget the dead rat under the team bench during the Tampa series (2004?)

Poor Ted. I’m sure he’s thinking why now with the report just after he finally acquires Verizon.
I wonder how Verizon faired in earlier health inspections. Has it gone downhill management-wise since Abe became sick?
Well, I’m going to focus on how much money we will now save. Except for the beer of course.

Yet another reason to not eat at the VC. I try to get downtown at least 45 minutes before face off. There are plenty of places open that don’t have lines. I especially like the cafe next door to the Shakespeare Theatre… all the sandwiches come with chips and salsa…
