Thanks. I don’t know anything about half those D but I expect Orlov to be head and shoulders above the rest. I also expect Flemming to stand out for his skating but don’t think he’ll have the all around game Orlov does.
Sometimes you need a criminal lawyer, sometimes you need a criminal lawyer.
Flemming, Yadlowski, Orlov, and Finley looked decent, as did Cullen, Della Rovere, Hauswirth, Eakin, and DiSimone, in my eyes at least.

Isn’t Kuznutz supposed to be a C? Why was he on the wing? Where did they have Galiev playing?
The Finley reviews are kind of funny to read because they are all over the place. It sounds like he’s at least gotten a little better, but I’m still very skeptical. As you pointed out in the other thread, he’s older and more experienced than most of these guys. How many guys there are even close to NHL caliber skaters? 3-4 tops? Mackan, Eakin, maybe Kuznutz and maybe one other guy?

Galiev on second squad this afternoon in white—same as Mackan. Looked really good. Mackan was awesome (sorry I had to use that word. It just fit). To my eyes, Kuznetsov stood out this morning, as did several others such as Eakin, Cullen, Della Rovere, and Orlov.
"I’m very happy to hear the news," Ovechkin said when he heard about Backstrom's longterm contract--"because he’s one of the top centers in the world, one of my best friends and we want to play together for a long time. He’s a guy who wants to stay in one place and be comfortable and win, just like me. We talk all the time about playing together, and we talked after the playoffs about how we can win in Washington."

Kuz was at C almost the entire time. Gailev was at RW most of the time, and did a few “Two on x” drills on the Left side. Kuz did not impress me – his stick work was amazing, but he was easily knocked off the puck.
