With the 176th pick in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft, the Washington Capitals have selected Samuel Carrier, D, Lewiston (QMJHL). From the team’s release:
Carrier, a native of Laval, Quebec, scored 10 goals and added 32 assists in 66 games for Lewiston in the QMJHL this past season. He led Lewiston defensemen in scoring and saw his point total jump from nine points (four goals, five assists) in his first year with Lewiston.Some more info on the newest Cap:
