Congratulations to Caps prospect Dustin Stevenson, who was named Top Defensive Player of the Royal Bank Cup Tournament. He was also nominated for but did not win the title of CJHL MVP.

He changes his tune a bit – in some other interview he talked about modeling his game on Pronger’s. Not that that’s a bad thing, mind you.

Well being your favorite player and modeling your game are entirely different. He has to be realistic about what he can and can’t do so for a guy with his size and style it wouldn’t make sense to try to be Mike Green, even if he likes him the most.

Yeah it would be but it’s still a long shot. He wasn’t exactly playing against elite competition all year. Still, he has a better chance at becoming what Joe Finley was supposed to become than Joe Finley does.
