Red Birdie – thanks so much for doing all this hard work. Like everyone else, I wish this had gone on much longer. My tear-stained check is on the way to you. I threw in the extra $25 that I had pledged should Theo win the Masterton. Don’t care if he does or not – in my mind, he is the winner, so that’s good enough for the extra pledge. I’ve also rounded up – I’ll pretend it was for all the rounds that they would have won if they had a functional power play.

I’m mailing to you so that you can hopefully present it all to Theo in person at once. A big wad of checks would be so impressive.

Thanks for doing this RedBirdie. My check is in the mail today. I really wanted my check to be the full $500 I pleadged if they won the SC. To ease the pain, I did add in a little extra to round my donation up to $150. At least something really great came out of this season!

I just completed the form and stuck it in the mail.

I am a member of the March of Dimes Board here in St. Louis, and spend a lot of time raising money for them to fight the battle against infant prematurity. We donate quite a bit from MoD to the NICU here at Children’s Hospital in St. Louis.

This is tremendously important cause. RedBirdie – you and everyone that donated should be congratulated.

I’m a newbie to this group, but, whether Theo returns or not, whether it’s this charity or another, a similar program next year would be great. I look forward to joining for the regular season.

Since Theo was pulled and didn’t get to play again because of the Caps imploding, I sent $50 instead of $35.

Robin, thank you for organizing this effort on behalf of Caps fans. As a parent of 3, losing a child is the worst loss imaginable. I so admire how Jose handled it. Any parent who has spent time in a NICU knows the phenomenal care provided by the medical staff. I am sending a check to the Caps today.
