He does, yes, but in that Q&A he did at the Baltimore ESPNZone, he said he didn’t feel like those were “his” cups, because he barely played in the playoff series’ in question.

If you’ve seen Jason Doig’s wife, you’d know he’s getting it good.
Doig wasn’t much a of a player, but he is a great human being, and did tons of work for charities in the DC area when he was here.
He also wasn’t bad with the fists if necessary…

Best free agent signing ever, period?
We’ll need the playoffs to know for sure, but given the price, expectations, and results delivered, it would be hard to do much better…on any team in any sport.
Just my 2¢ (which is often worth even less than that).

Best Regular Season FA signing...
For now Knuble is the best regular season free agent signing to be sure. As for overall…well, without signing Brian Bellows during the 1997-98 season, the Caps don’t get to the Stanley Cup Finals. He stepped right in on a wing with Joe Juneau and Adam Oates and all of a sudden oppoenents had to try to find two checking lines against the Caps, one for Bondra, and one for Oates.
Bellows also scored the series clinching OT goal against Boston in the opening round, and assisted on Juneau’s goal that clinched the Eastern conference title, although his assist was actually three shots on goal in the space of 2 seconds from a distance of about one foot in front of Hasek. The third shot rebounded to the side and Juneau slid the puck in. All this while four Sabres watched Bellows and Juneau were on top of the net…
If Knuble can replicate this (and more hopefully), then I agree with Ted.
Let's go Caps!
Yeah, he sure was...
Of course the bar was extremely low.
Russian Machine very rarely breaks. Oh and f**k Brooks Orpik.
Brian Bellows and Ulf Dahlen were both nice signings, and both plucked out of European leagues at a discount.
I’d say Dahlen was the best because he was so cheap and so surprisingly effective. Give Knuble another season or two (and a Stanley Cup?) and I’ll change my mind.
