My photos from the front row at last night's Caps-Rangers game. It was crazy sitting so close and definitely a totally different experience. If you want to know how I got these, I "know" somebody and did not pay for them.

You get a sense of just how amazingly fast the game is down there. The main thing the stuck out to me is just what happens when two 200 pound guys slam into each other 6 inch from your face, like so:
Also Jeff Schultz is really effing tall.

Seemed like he was talking to the refs all night. In fact at one point McCreery skated over to the CAPs bench to talk to him specifically. It never looked like they were arguing a play, just like a continuation of a conversation. Love to know what that was all about.
