The Washington Capitals have recalled defenseman John Carlson from the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League (AHL), vice president and general manager George McPhee announced today.

No, it’s on CSN in the local area. It’s CSN local, Versus nationally, and MSG in Buffalo. Versus is using the Caps feed.

As best I could tell from the Caps website, it’s on Versus in HD, and on CSN in non-HD

In Washington and Buffalo, Versus will be blacked out. Versus picked this up as an additional game, it is not a national exclusive, which is when CSN will be blacked out.

Versus picked this game and a bunch of others up in February. The ones they picked up to my understanding aren’t Versus exclusive games, so therefore local markets will get the games like normal. Hence you’ll get it on CSN-DC if you live in DC Metro area.
