Cody Eakin summoned to Hershey

"Swift Current Broncos' forward Cody Eakin has been called up to the Washington Capitals' AHL affiliate Hersey Bears. Eakin will join the AHL's top team on Monday. "Eakin, 18, was selected by the Capitals in the third round, 85th over-all in the 2009 NHL draft. "He is coming off his most successful WHL season scoring 47 goals and 91points with the Broncos this season. Eakin signed an NHL entry level contract this past October."
