Sid vs. Ovi Round Three - Tale of the Tape

For the past two meetings this season between the Capitals and the Penguins, NHL.com made a spiffy little graphic element called Tale of the Tape, where they compared the stats of Ovi and Sid.  I blogged about it for the February 5 matchup, but for some reason they haven't decided to do the comparison this time 'round.

So I've decided to do their work for them, and here is the updated chart, minus the previous nifty graphics.

No real surprises or revelations here.  Both superstars continue to be the workhorses for their teams, providing steady offensive output and solid leadership.  The only real outliers are Ovi's ridiculous +/- number, and the fact that he missed 2.66 games during this stretch.  If you take AO's misconduct out of the equation, Sid has actually incurred more PIM, some of it on that post-whistle scrum @Wings.  And as bad as the Pens' power play has been, Sidney still has one more PPG than Alex does.

And there's your Tale of the Tape!
