Well, I’m primarily wanting to avoid the Pens until the last possible moment, but if they’re going to turn the puck over like that, I’ll take them earlier rather than later.

I’ve generally seen it with a darker green. borderline mint green just doesn’t do it for me.
love that dark green with cream lettering Minnesota is using for their thirds.

Go to Slow’s barbecue for dinner. Greektown is good, too. I love the Detroit Institute of the Arts or the Henry Ford Museum. Make sure to hit Coney Island for a hot dog.

yeah, I’m going to want to see pics to see how they set up Ford Field! I was shocked that the NCAA’s ability to completely strip the VC of anything that really indicated it was the VC or that professional sports teams played there. They took down all the banners, any advertisements, everything! It was nice to see all the banners for national champion teams, but otherwise it felt a bit sterile.
Oh, be warned, absolutely no alcohol sales! I didn’t know that going in, it seriously sucked. Everyone ran out of the VC between the two semi-final games and invaded Clyde’s, Bar Louie, Rocket, etc. There’s not that sort of concentration of bars around Ford Field, unfortunately.

Yeah I saw that… Chicago’s cup hopes seem to be dimming by the game. Whoever they play in the first round is going to be playing good hockey, and they’re not going to be a team that can be run over… It would suck if Ovie’s hit ends up ruining Chicago’s playoff chances.

Brutal hit. Blatant charge and he got his hands up way high. The way Seabrook stayed up for a second then collapsed was ridiculous. I wish I could say I would be shocked if there were no suspension.

So, my. Anaheim-Chicago was a little chippy, wasn’t it? Lots of rough stuff. Seabrook did that thing with his face that actors do when they’re being KO’ed by the whap over the back of the head. You could almost see the stars swirling over his head. Half the Blackhawks D-corps is out right now?
(Because this is JUST what we needed, another play for Campbell to make a ruling on.)

Granted, I have no horse in the race, but the Seabrook hit on Perry looked questionable. I wouldn’t say it was a blow to the head (as the quacks in Anaheim are saying), but it was damn close. Of course, Wisniewski’s hit on Seabrook was unquestionably brutal. If Wisniewski isn’t today’s contestant on “Wheel Of Justice” I’ll be stunned.
“I’d like to buy a vowel… i” If Campbell actually wants to clean up the league, he’ll have a conference call with Seabrook too, just to let him know he’s treading close to the line.
