That’s why I love the helmet – once you’re not within 3 feet of it, or on ice level, the glossy Weagle really stands out.

Right. That’s what’s gone awry with so many new goalie bucket designs — they don’t have a singular image that shows up well either to fans in the stands or on TV, except close up.

I like the downplay of the duality. Yeah, it’s nice to acknowledge everything but I’d rather he have a Caps mask and a team Russia mask.

That’s a much better mask “in action” than on its own. Even better with a red sweater, I’d wager.

Thanks for the link Your Nation’s Capital, but please make sure you state where you got this photo from, so people aren’t mistaking you took it. I want Kyle M of RMNB to get the credit. Thanks for the link in the Monday clips, JP.

Hi Ian – I did link you back, but next time I’ll write it out too. Thanks for your team’s excellent reporting!
IS KEPTIN NOW
Thanks Your Nation’s Capital, that’s good enough. :) I honestly really appreciate it. I don’t want it to sound like I’m complaining either or sound turdish – I really didn’t want to press send when I put that up. Just I know how hard Kyle worked to get me the photos last night and a pretty nice writeup, and I felt obligated to say something. Thanks for your support and your extremely nice response back.

Slightly OT
Why doesn’t Hershey put the Weagle on the shoulder patch instead of the wordmark logo? I think it’d stand out more…
Let's go Caps!
