Super Sunday Clips: Pens @ Caps

The story of the day is the Penguins' tortuous travel path to get to ~~International Falls~~ Washington DC.- a 2pm puck drop and eventual loss in Montreal, then a plane to Newark, then a bus to DC, and a hotel arrival at 2am for the noon game today.

Not mentioned: That the Saturday game was the Pens' first since a home win on Monday. The Caps have played three games in that stretch, two of them on the road and a back-to-back game on Thursday/Friday.

Anyway, on to your savory tailgating links:

First up, our SBN partners at Pensburgh have issued an invitation to join them at gametime to raise funds for Haitian earthquake relief. OlenWhitaker and Friend of the Rink Hooks Orpik will be making a per-comment donation. Japers' Nation, represent.

Caps are now scoring by committee. And if I remember correctly, Matt Bradley is on the clock with the longest goal drought in The Streak. Brads is only two goals away from becoming the Caps' tenth (!) ten-goal scorer.
