Didn’t check the open thread for the day first, but seemed like a good idea to make a separate thread. I think I’ve lost track of the score already. 4-1? 5-1? I know they just scored again while I figuring out how to get this set up.

yeah sucks to be them. Must be those sexy caps jerseys the bears are wearing tonight that snapped them out of their “scoring drought”. You know since they weren’t scoring 8 goals a game.

Howdy — it was entertaining. Late in the third period when the Bridgeport goalie made a good save, everyone "awwwww"ed as though the Bears had been denied the game winner.
The jerseys were very confusing, though. Seeing numbers I’m familiar with on the Caps roster, with the wrong names attached, was odd.

behind the net a lot of pushing and shoving between Miskovic and some bridgeport kid. Looked like someone lost Reich so he was standing right outside of the crease and just popped it in underneath the pads of holtby while he was trying to get over to stop the puck.

Yeah that penalty shot by MP was absolutely awesome. Came in all slow the goalie looked all kinds of confused and ended up on his back so MP just popped it over him and into the net.

Any idea on why Bouchard isn’t playing tonight? I thought he had reached the point where he was an everyday player there.

It sounded like it was just because they needed the roster spot for Laing. (Same applies to someone sitting for Sloan, I guess.)

I don’t think any moves will hurt the Bears all that much.
They have done well with all of the callups so far.
