I believe in regular season Theo!
My ability to post is only surpassed by my ability to pinch pennies.
Theo’s won some playoff series with some teams that were pretty ordinary. This Caps team is the best team he’s played on, and he is definitely a contributor towards that.
We will see what happens in the playoffs, but I suspect if Theo is the starter we can win it all. Remember that Chris Osgood’s won the Cup twice… he’s a very good goaltender (not a great one) and Theo is probably in the same class as Ozzie…
Let's go Caps!

Good point about Osgood — see’s Bucci’s point in the right column about ordinary goaltenders winning the Cup.
I’ve been critical of Theodore before, but I just think that for once, at least in a streak like this, we can stop dumping on a guy who had lost his child this offseason. Give some good karma to continue his confidence and focus or else it’s self defeating to expect someone to fail.
I belevie Theo every blue moon!!!!

I Believe!
Theo hasn’t been the greatest at times, but he has been pretty good the last few weeks. We’re quick at times to condemn his play, but this guy has flashes of brilliance in the crease at times. He does have some street cred with the Hart and Venzina trophies on his mantle. Also, he has literally carried a team into the playoffs (Colorado Avalanche) with his play in goal. So, let’s cut the guy a little slack and hope he continues to play well…maybe he’ll even channel in some of the play from the 2000-2001 season.
Hi, my name is Amanda, and I’ve believed on and off since January 6, 2009. I paid the big bucks for 3rd row seats and he won that game in the shootout. My belief has wavered occasionally, but I don’t know if I’ve stopped any time this season.
Tom Brady is Sidney Crosby, except Tom Brady has felt the touch of a woman, and has his own house.
