Johnson goes to Opening Cermonies (in between Kings games)
I was already a Jack Johnson fan from back in his days on the USA WJC team, but I'm an even bigger fan now.

Now helping to keep an eye on all things Gr8 at Alex Ovetjkin.
I saw him there – NBC (Dan Patrick, iirc) interviewed him before the ceremony last night. Pretty awesome that he wanted to do that (and that his team let him). Wonder if you-know-who inquired about the possibility of a similar excursion (my guess is no).

In fairness to just about any other player, location and schedule is a big factor in this. Unless he left mid-way through the ceremonies, there’s no way he got back to LA by midnight Pacific time.
