Looking to take in a game at RBC when the Caps are there in Dec. Anyone know which end (section #’s) the Caps shoot at twice?

Peerless has his preview up. The previews bullet always looks a little thin without “Peerless” in there.

Dmitry Chesnakov tweeting that a Caps trade may be in the works. Of course, a trade could be in the works every day.
Just trying to capture the spirit of the thing...
Zing!
As it’s Chesnokov, the first assumption is always that it involves a Russian, but unless we’re talking about a prospect, no way. We’re not trading any Russian that’s currently on the roster. I suppose we could be trading for one. . . .

Antropov might make a nice 2C. I’d do Zherdev for Flash too, though I doubt Philly would.

You have to believe that he wouldn’t put it out there if there wasn’t some truth. He’s no Eklund.
Shame he has no details.

Yeah, I don’t think he’s just throwing it out there. But I would also guess he’s not talkin with GMGM, so who knows how reliable his info is.

He could be talking to someone on the other team that is more loose-lipped.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he heard it (the rumor) from one of the Russian Caps, and that’s the only “Russian” connection to the whole thing.
Now he says on Twitter it’s a forward for a D. Let the speculation begin.

And looking again at his tweet, not sure which direction.

(hate replying to myself. Where are you guys?)
Next tweet:
It may as well involve a forward who was a healthy scratch last game.

Watch this be a minor league swap, I don’t know, like Andrew Gordon for…someone.

Some would say we need a 2C (I think D is the more critical need). But I’m not searching through box scores to see what other teams had unexpected healthy scratches in their last games.

There are teams with forthcoming cap problems as players get healthy. Bruins, Canucks to name two.

speaking of….does anyone have an update on Nyls? Last I knew, surgery was successful, but I haven’t heard anything more.

Despite suffering a serious neck injury, Rochester Americans center Michael Nylander will be able to resume his playing career in professional hockey in six months.
That’s the prognosis from doctors at the University of Rochester’s Department of Orthopaedics following surgery to fuse together the C-5 and C-6 vertebrae in Nylander’s neck.
Sorry, all I got. Quick Google search and nothing more recent. Gotta respect Natty and Emily’s searching skillz.

That’s pretty much all we’re gonna get. Not much more for Nyls to do than hurry up and wait while his neck knits back together.

I actually have Star Wars on SpikeTV.

Any morning skate today?
Which is kinda a roundabout way to ask who is starting in goal tonight.
Obstreperously Avatarless
Would be interesting of course to know who didn’t skate – given the trade rumors.
