Seriously? I’ve never had a good experience there and I heard it hasn’t improved since the smoking ban.

Oh, I was kidding. It’s a fun place, honestly, and I hadn’t gone before the smoking ban, but smoking bans would only improve a place in my opinion (Yay asthma!)
But yeah, I’ve only been twice, for JR functions both times, and enjoyed both.

Seriously, is this true? Only way I can come is if I bring the wife and 2-month old. Kid likes big crowds (he falls asleep). We’re taking him to his first Caps game tonight.
It’d probably be ok, but there’s an amount of swearing that was going on. I know personally I can curtail it around kids, but I don’t know about everyone. It got a little loud, but not too loud. It probably depends on how you feel about taking them to a game, as I thought the atmosphere was pretty equitable.

Me too, some of you I remember by handles, some by “real” names (many I can’t remember either). Name tags a good idea. You don’t want me assigning Delta-Tau-Chi names to you on the fly in my head, or they will be the only names I EVER know you by.

I will be representing at the soon to be demolished Mellon Arena. I will be wearing a beer stained Ovechkin jersey, courtesy of my fellow Pittsburghers who will be wearing black and gold and baby blue.
Pens fans are actually pretty accommodating, knowledgeable and fun – there is the occasional jackass but for the most part, it’s an amiable rivalry. Mainly because they have owned us for so many years. :(
