I’m getting a giggle out of the closeup of the Ameritel Copiers dasherboard. Thought this was a GEICO ad.
ALEX, FЯEE
I don’t get it. What is Boudreau doing in the ad?

He’s using his watch to make sure Mike Green takes a reasonable shift length.

In half of Mike Green’s ATOI, you could save 15% or more on car insurance.

Brilliant!

I’m confused by this one. It’s a little boring, and BB called off the caveman.

Ohgods...
I just got a lovely image of a Mike Green and the Gecko ad…
That poor Gecko… clinging to the puck as Green sends him and the puck to the back of the net… “Hello? Geico?”

I’m sure its completely dopey, but good on Mike. A national TV ad series is unbelievable. I never in my wildest dreams thought I’d see a Capital staring in one.
Fun fact: A popular opinion can still be stupid.
Just conjecture, but I’d assume this is just for the local market (much like Geico’s Jason “Candle” ads).

Agree on this one. But the first one with national play? Priceless. (However, it is possible that it played locally, only. There are places in national broadcasts for local commericals.)

the West Coast Rink Contingent confirmed that they saw the first commercial during Winter Un-Classic.

Oh wow, didn’t expect that….awesome

NHL tweeted today that GEICO is filming one w/ Gaborik and the googly-eyed money.
I could have been equipment manager, but nooooo!
Hossa or Malone would be better for that.

The money Mike Green could have saved by switching to Geico

Long story short, a few months back some dipshit high school kid decided to drive his truck into oncoming traffic, hitting me and causing major damage to my car. When the repairs were done, the Darcars collision center in Lanham refused to accept the insurance check as payment for some unknown reason, so I had to go to the bank myself and cash it to pay for the repairs with about $7k in Benjamins. Since I’ve never seen that much money in one place in my life, I decided to have some fun with it before picking my car up. The picture is a result of a joke I have with some friends about Mike Green “making it rain.”
As an off-topic aside- I cannot stress enough how unprofessional, incompetent, rude and demeaning Darcars (including management) was throughout the ordeal. Those rat bastards are never getting another penny from me and I sincerely hope they all get SARS. Just kidding. Maybe. But yeah, fuck them and I highly recommend everyone buy cars / get service anywhere but there.

completely off topic, but when I was looking for a new car, I went to Darcars and HATED that place within 5 seconds. Awful. Went elsewhere.
Hilarious photo, though!
The Swedish equivalent of Tom Poti should feel shame.
I worked there briefly...
I sold VWs for them for a month. And in the one staff meeting I was subjected to, the manager went on a tirade that lasted twenty minutes, with every other word being either the eff-bomb, or something equally unpleasant. Basically, it was a twenty-minute cussing out because we couldn’t sell cars… never mind that the dealership was a hole in the wall and looked like sh**.
Darcars is hard-sell, and their reps’ jobs are on the line if they don’t try and put people into the most expensive car they can’t afford, with as few discounts as possible. I was sacked for being “too nice”. Literally.
Darcars is ridiculous, and I will never, ever, EVER buy a car from them.
I need a snappy signature...

More Bruce
I can’t get enough of this man. The “you haaaaaad me at no problem” line in the Mercedes commercials makes me giggle every single time. “Boop boop boop boop!”
