Plenty of us have commented on certain aspects of TV broadcasts that drive us crazy, like CSN's habits of missing faceoffs and not showing replays. I think it'd be a great to have better information about this, so we can really figure out if these things are problems or not. And hey, maybe if we shine a light on them, things will improve.
So here's an idea: when you're watching the broadcast of a Caps game and something noteworthy (good or bad) happens in the broadcast, type "#TV", the time on the game clock, and a description of what happened into the gameday thread. For example:
#TV 6:32 missed faceoff
#TV 8:00 bad camera angle on power play
#TV 23:47 no replay of why ShaMo was penalized
#TV 2nd Intermission great interview with Mike Green
Thanks to the magic of the SBNation search function, this'll let us find all the #TV posts. I don't know exactly how the information will be used, but I do think that a steady stream of feedback on what viewers do and don't like can only help to improve our broadcasts.
