What weirds it out for me is that, if I was making that image, the hats would be on a set of layers, and I could simply select the whole set, move it about ten pixels right, and have enough room on the top row for the coolest hat of all.

As WM said, though – good catch, and interesting!

The top left is even, alphabetically, where a Caps hat would be.

I bet it’s the Caveman’s fault. Green rats him out, so when he’s setting up to take the photo, he makes sure the Caps hat isn’t there…

as much as i would love to feed into this, if you go to shop.nhl.com and select the 2nd season hats, they have 29 items listed….at that point, you can see the capitals hat in row one….what is missing of the 29 is anaheim….oddly, anaheim is one of the 29 in the big picture so good luck figuring that one out…apparently they have one for the big picture of all 29 times for anaheim but you cannot buy one, conversely, none of the caps but you can purchase one….redundant of me?? yes, sorry, but just trying to be clear…no clue what the hell is going on with their site, just a dumb mistake, or apparently 2 dumb mistakes

can i throw in as a side note that these are some pretty spiffy looking hats for all the teams…they did a great job on the design…normally i hate hats….
