ALL the games are live—unless you happen to live in the time zone where the game is taking place and the game is on NBC.

Norway plays twice on the 18th? Is one of them on delay or something?
Now let's say you and I go toe to toe on bird law and see who comes out the victor.
probably. I need to get in gear on the planning.

NBC conspiracy exposed!
Descriptions of events from NBC Olympics schedule:
Wed Feb 24 3pm
With Ryan Miller in net, team USA continues its quest for Hockey gol
d live (ET/CT) as the Olympic quarterfinal round takes center ice.
Fri Feb 26 3pm
Ryan Miller and U.S. men’s Hockey team head into the semifinal round
(live ET/CT) with a medal in sight.
Any ideas how they know the results 6 weeks ahead?…
Probably the result of someone who didn’t really understand the schedule logging it in. The times for the US (and Canada) games in the knockout round are indeed set in advance—ASSUMING the team is actually playing in that round. Also not addressed is what happens if the USA and Canada play eachother. One would assume that they would go in the time slot pre-determined for the Canadian team due to, you know, actual human beings who planned to attend the Canada game and such, but with the money that NBC throws at the IOC, who knows for sure?

It’s pretty typical for NBC to spread Olympic coverage around all (well, most) of their properties. I think UHD is still too obscure for anything from the Winter Olympics (where, truth be told, there isn’t really THAT much happening at a given time that four networks aren’t enough to cover everything) though.

i might be doing a day trip to vancouver during the games.
the first week of the olympics coincides perfectly with reading break at my university on vancouver island. (victoria is only a 1.5-hour ferry-ride away from vancouver) unfortunately, i’m scheduled to have my wisdom teeth removed that tuesday (the 16th) in my hometown (3 hours up the island). however, if i heal up quickly enough, i’ll go back down to victoria the friday (the 19th) and make a trip to downtown vancouver on the saturday (the 20th). i don’t have tickets for events, but they’ll have all the festivities in the downtown area that i’ll check out. who knows, maybe i’ll bump into ovechkin……

i officially have every USA, RUssia, Sweeden and Canada game scheduled in my phone, with network so I can find it on TV wherever I am. Thanks for the heads up!
Because now I can justify browsing and commenting during the work day with the argument that I am promoting my business.
This is awesome. Nonstop hockey!
