I actually have signed written consent from the commissioner of the NHL and the almighty Sidney Crosby to post that one.

If you were wondering why the ground just shook, all Canadian media simultaneously formed a line again behind Crosby. In addition to the NHL marketing machine making Crosby the face of the NHL, the Players Association will also be asking him to fill the role of negotiator to replace Paul Kelly for the upcoming CBA contracts so that he can save all of hockey from another lockout.
Promote the game, it's the NHL, not SCHL
I have two for this:
a) I thought this was a headline from The Onion (no, I’m not kidding)
or
b)
That’s a huge lapse in judgment by the players on the executive board. It was a decision that happened in the middle of the night, so maybe they were sparing Crosby a 4:00 a.m. phone call.
Was the Executive Board doing work on the Hillary ‘08 campaign that we don’t know about?
"You know you're an alcoholic when the bartender knows your name - and you've never been to that bar before."
I’m with you thinking it might have been The Onion.
I can’t honestly believe that a supposedly objective member of the press wrote that article. Oh, I guess I have misused the word “objective”.
