I must have heard it 400 times. Hard not to like it.
Honorable mention: Carolina.

I can appreciate the Rangers, it’s something home grown and gets the fans going.
As an outsider I hate it and think it’s cheesy.
Rangers have the worst goal “horn” ever. I really hate the dumb team-specific goal songs. So agreed there. It distinctive, but also awful.
What’s wrong with team-specific goal songs? I like it when a team uses something unique, even if it isn’t great (an opinion which is probably highly reliant on your opinion of the team at hand). I find the Rangers goal song obnoxious, but that’s just because I hate the Rangers and have had to sit through the song in person while being heckled after the Caps get scored on too many times. It’s better than every team using something canned like Rock and Roll Part 2.

The Panthers’ one though is just plain bad. Sometimes deviating too much from the grain is bad. Detroit doesn’t deviate too much (from the general Canadian trend), but they have that extra little thing that makes me love it.

Caps lose style points for incorporating the siren, IMO. Stick with the horn and the spotlight. More horn. More cowbell.
