"Theodore may have played his way out of the running for the top spot Thursday after being pulled for Semyon Varlamov. Varlamov did not face any shots, but just the mere fact that he was taken out in an exhibition contest leaves us wondering."
- Rotowire.com with the dumbest analysis you'll read today (note: Varly was credited with playing the first seven seconds of the second period, and even that was simply an official scorer's mistake - he actually didn't play at all)

That is dumb
Everyone knows 8 seconds is the cutoff for a successful outing.

Ah ha! But I’ve saved you all from yourselves by not actually including the link! You’re welcome.

Unreal
Alright, so the info above made my head hurt, but not as much as this fact. I am in five fantasy hockey leagues. Theodore was drafted in only one of them, Varlamov in everyone of them. I can’t find a way to fit Theo on my roster in any of the leagues, but there are several teams who could.
Are the “experts” really expecting Varly to get the job?
