Excellent use of that link.
I’ll also offer up that 15.61% of Green’s shift frequency at ES was with Ersky and 4.17% of his total points production.

doesn’t putting Sugden in the lineup antagonize brashear? if we r goin in another direction, shouldn’t the caps stick to that when facing the rags? kind of insult to injury, no?
by Hunky Dory on Sep 24, 2009 5:56 PM EDT via mobile reply actions
Nah, Brashear is the tough guy for the Rangers, see, and the Blueshirts are looking for revenge since the Caps put Dubinsky (or was it Callahan?) out of the lineup in their playoff series. So Brashear’s got to fight the Caps. And follow me here, because this is where it gets really zen.
Because it was Brashear that did the putting out, Brashear’s got fight, but he’s got to lose for The Code to be satisfied.
So the Caps are really doing Brashear a favor and putting a tough guy in the lineup to crack his head for him, so his new teammates and fans will accept him.
See how that works?
Neither – it was Blair Betts.
I don’t see Brashear doing that, and I see the fans deciding that Brashear sucks if he loses, especially to an AHL’er. New York fans aren’t forgiving people on the whole and they’ll be looking for any excuse. Success is the best revenge, so I think that it will benefit him more if he comes out and wins for their side.
That said, I wish Sugden all the best. I want to see him succeed.

Observations:
Looks like a preseason game. Slow and sloppy.
Sloan has been noticable. In the good way.
Schulz has not. In the good way.
Alzner is pressing. He is not one of the 7 best right now.
Clark looks great. Aucoin and giroux are doing their best, but they’re just not full time nhlers. Still, that line has been pretty good.
I’d like more SOB and a lot less care bears. That shit won’t work with luinquist.
Steckels lines (even and pk) have had some marvelous forechecking sequences.

There's always more to learn about Hockey.
Normally, Knuble would play but he got the day off. And Morrison has been out since getting hit against Chicago last week. They think he’ll be back Sunday.
Bourque is still too shaken up after yesterday’s game.
Who is our second line? (Yes, I’m being sarcastic.) It seems like it’s basically in disarray, due to injuries, etc. Most of our injured guys were last year’s second line or the folks we have penciled in for that role.
I just hope it isn’t a harbinger for the season. Last season’s injuries piled up fast and deep. I still remember the day I counted eleven guys on the injured list.

Will Perrault stay? He’s still here but didn’t get to play today. Aucoin seems to do well on out 2nd line (with Semin) for some reason. Normally, I would advocate keeping Perrault who’s a genuine prospect.
