Sweet, though I could do without the laces. This jersey just feels like the wrong place for them.
If I were to buy a Hershey jersey, what name should I get on the back? If Mink was still with the team, I’d go with him.

I’m waiting until training camp, but I’m thinking Neuvirth.

I like the idea of Carlson, assuming he doesn’t make the Caps. That name just feels right in the chocolate and white. In a way Alzner never has for me. Alzner belongs in red. Maybe it’s just that “Carlson” sounds like a candy bar.

I’ve never really liked a straight horizontal line when the bottom of the jersey doesn’t parallel it – looks untidy to me, like an untucked shirt or something.

I think all jerseys with that diaper cut look mediocre, but honestly, I’m not too impressed with this jersey. I may be in a minority, but I like certain wordmarks, and I liked the white “Bears” diagonals, and the chocolate brown “Hershey”. That bear logo is cool, but I feel it looks better as a shoulder patch. Surprisingly, to me, the third jersey is the most likely that I would get, but I’m still working on Caps jerseys, so I won’t be apt to get a B’ars jersey this year.
I'm so sick and tired of the refs explaining the calls like this is the NFL.
Absolutely agree. The diagonal letters were simple and classic, for a classic franchise. The logo is at best a shoulder patch.

Hey, what’s the general opinion of wearing a brown Hershey jersey to the Verizon Center on a rock the red night? I know it’s not red, but it’s pretty close — I doubt the difference would show up on a TV camera (and I’m pretty sure Pierre McGuire couldn’t tell the difference).

Any hockey fan that’s smart enough to take an interest in the AHL club gets a pass on this. I should’ve picked up a chocolate Green jersey while I had the chance. I understand the whole “aligning colors” thing that they’ve done here, but c’mon. Hershey IS Chocolatetown and should’ve never deviated away from that for the Caps’ sake.
Thumbs down! Time to comb eBay for “classic” Hershey sweaters!
