Just as an update, I still intend to try to organize something…I’ve just been absolutely swamped with work and some personal stuff over the past couple of weeks, so I haven’t had a chance to call around to rinks. I hope to actually do that during the upcoming week and will make a fanpost when I do.

(and I’m glad it’s now that I’m swamped with work and not during the season when I might miss something!)

Appreciate the update. You might be running into more difficulty because adult and youth leagues start up in a few weeks, so ice time will be more limited and not sure if that will also affect anyone coming out for this. Hopefully it will all come together smoothly.
The jersey — pretty cool. I like that you didn’t cop out and just slap something onto a Caps jersey and played around a bit. Template reminds me of Hartford Wolfpack, which I’m cool with.
Perhaps a shoulder patch should just say Japers’ Rink?
If everybody was willing to pay, that would be a possibility. I made the jersey on a website that creates jerseys for teams. I didnt get a quote though… should I?
Fehr is fair, but I like Laich
I think so. I won’t play (not a good enough skater) but I’d still be likely to come watch and buy one of these.

Some sites, if you request a quote, will send you an email asking you what’s up and what not. I’d be willing to get one, and I’m finally working out/eating better, so the longer it takes to get the game together, the more in shape I’ll be.
I'm so sick and tired of the refs explaining the calls like this is the NFL.
I like it. I’m not fond of the shoulder patches but the main logo and stripes are great.
I think the overlapped double Rs just don’t work in this font. Maybe we could use JP’s avatar there instead. :)
We could go crazy, and use our own avatars as our own shoulder patches :O
Regardless, would we all have to claim numbers? Safe to assume 5, 7, 11, and 32 are retired? :3

Awesome (and flattering) work, amk. I love it.
Just wonderin’ – are the homes red or blue? :)

Could make the logo white if you really wanted a blue background. But red is better anyway.

In terms of anybody wanting to buy a jersey…. I think the only way we could do this if it was in bulk. So if anybody is interested I would need to get an email from you. I typed in all of the specifications on the website, and after everything it is going to be around $70. I need a minimum of 10 people to 100% confirm before we can discuss actually buying the jerseys. Unfortunately, this means no avatars for patches, and no join dates for numbers. It just wouldnt work out. But if anybody is interested in buying a jerseys send me an email at amkcaps@aol.com

Would that be 10 people for each color (home red and away white)?

I didnt even think about the home red, I was just going to go for the white. If its also the home red it will be almost $150 each. And it might not be exactley the same jersey style because the website doesnt have a red with the same pattern

When would the order go down? I know most sites charge a little extra for numbers, and as dumb as I sound, I don’t think I’d want one without a number, but I’d probably go for one of each.

honestly, the only way i can see it being worthwhile to lay down this kinda cash is if you guys all join a league together.
