However, I don’t believe most voters have the hockey knowledge to realize the skill required to execute the moves that Alex displayed in scoring that goal.
that’s the problem with requiring people to vote in every category. I know several people who told me they didn’t even watch the “best plays” before voting, they just voted for one of the football ones. (I had to play “educate gymnastics fans about Ovechkin” because of this. and they all liked the Montreal goal better. And then said “What happened to his tooth?!”)
