Here's Hoping Winning Breeds Winning
"Seven of Washington’ 24 prospects at development camp this week were part of a championship team last season. Francois Bouchard, John Carlson and Mathieu Perreault played for Washington’s AHL affiliate the Hershey Bears last season and helped the club with their 10th Calder Cup and second in the last four years. Braden Holtby practiced with the Bears throughout their playoff run and served as backup for one game in the playoffs. Josh Godfrey won a Kelly Cup in June with Washington’s ECHL affiliate, the South Carolina Stingrays. Andrew Glass, who the Caps drafted in 2007, won the NCAA championship with Boston University at the Verizon Center in April. Stefan Della Rovere, who the Caps took in the seventh round of the 2008 draft, was a member of Canada’s gold-medal winning World Junior Championship team." - Caps Today

Also worth noting, of course, are all the other guys in the org. who have won the Calder Cup (Laich, Green, Fehr, Stecks, Flash, Gordon, Schultz, Bourque, Kane from the 2006 team, and a whole slew from this past year, obviously, including Neuvirth, Alzner and so on).

and Ovie and Semin were both members of the 2008 Russian world championship team. I’m sure there are others who have won titles.
Not to mention Mr. Knuble’s previous date with Lord Stanley.
