Konowalchuk, who played with Sacco with the Washington Capitals, said the new Avs coach knows only one thing: hard work.
“That’s how he lasted so long in the NHL as a player, and that’s what I think will make him a good coach,” Konowalchuk said. “He played in the minors at times as a player, and he’s worked his way up from there as a coach. He’s a guy who will work as hard as he can to make that team successful, that’s for sure.” Link
