Ted is a machine. He answered a ton of questions (although not always in a totally responsive manner).
None, really. He thinks we need an army of big, playmaking centers and says tough, shut-down D-men are overrated.

Center trade?
1) Only thing of interest was his mentioning that the Caps will not make any big free agent signings(no surprise) but he did mention that the team needs a big mobile center.(Besides Pittsbugh, who doesn’t?)
2) When asked if this means they will trade for one he was coy, but if you read between the lines we’d bet they do. He specifically said they need to get younger and bigger.
3) If so they HAVE to unload Nylander! WeI’d expect they’d trade their 1st round pick, a prospect/and or Morrisonn.
So who do you think would fit that description AND be available?

sometimes I find it's better to be somebody else
Well, if the opinion of SBN’s excellent Wild blogger is any indication, chances are slim. As he wrote in his predictions of what will happen under the new management:
9. Mikko gets a permanent C on his sweater. Some people like the rotation, most do not. Fact is, this team is better with Mikko in charge. Look for the C to be crazy glued to his chest.

It’s a scary thought. This year’s NHL draft class involves guys that are the age of my younger daughter (who just turned 18.) Yes, I’m getting old. But, I guess this also means that my child is coming of age when the NHL draftees are her age. (As for my elder child, we got 5 members of the Caps within 1 year of her in age and one more who is a year, plus a few days younger.)
Dmitri Kulikov has the perfect name for a Washington Caps player. A Russian who’s known as “Kuli”. Gee, nothing like a Kuli to go along with Chris Cooley of the Washington Redskins.
