Awards Show viewing party - now with free stuff
The other day we told you about the Awards Show viewing party we're throwing together with Puck Daddy. To furtherbribeentice you to join us, we've pulled together some nice prizes that we'll give out, including an autographed Bruce Boudreau bobblehead. So show up on Thursday night and win stuff... kinda like Alex Ovechkin.

but I already have an autographed Bruce bobblehead! Can I get free beer instead?

I bet that if you won the Bruce bobblehead, you could trade it for all the free beer you could drink that night.

No, but we’re taking applications.

Maybe you can rent them. Or have your next get-together at a bar hosting a sorority-organized tequila-tasting contest.

These ladies have a local chapter, and appear more than ready to Rock the Red.

If you don’t go to GMU, and just searched for that, then I want to congratulate you for setting a new record for creepiness on this blog. Bravo!

If a photo of a group of mostly attractive women that are of age is creepy to you, I just don’t know what to say.
If the thought of me combing the recesses of the web for a sorority from the nearest college to the aforementioned social gathering this Thursday evening is creepy to you, then I suggest searching the term “tongue-in-cheek”, and keeping the subtle sarcasm in mind during goofy threads such as this.

This is hilarious. Some gal-pals and I were planning to check out the viewing party but now we are staying f-a-r away. LoL.

That would be Tri-Delt, not Chi O, brother.

I’m aware, thanks. Consider it two sorority references rolled into one lame attempt at greek humor.
Yeesh, I get called out on my quote and also called a creep. What, do you guys have a soft spot for the Greek community or something?

I might see what I can do about swinging up. Unemployment’s a bitch, but I’ll figure something out.
I'm so sick and tired of the refs explaining the calls like this is the NFL.

Okay, this keeps getting better and better and seems worthy of a slog up 29. You all may rue the day, but count me in as attending too. I may be a little late depending on how bad the traffic is around Gainesville, but I’ll get there eventually.

Apparently Comcast SportsNet will be there to film and hang out, so fill the place and rock the red, y’all.

side note: comcast has been consistently great about giving publicity to blogs, so i hope that continues and we hear the names “puck daddy” and “japers’ rink” during the segment…not just “some caps fans gathered here in ballston.”

There’s always a chance it will get posted on their website. Be afraid, be very afraid.
I have tivo, but not a clue how to get anything on to youtube.
